Garrett Johnson is a winter garden, Fl native.
Founder of Built On Faith Sports. Garrett started playing football as early as 7 yrs old at the local Pop Warner league team, West Orange Wildcats. This is where the love of football began. What started off as just a fun game, quickly turned into a childhood dream of playing in the NFL.
Next, after Pop warner- Garrett attended West Orange High School, where he had immediate success on and off the field. He was a scholar in the classroom and the hardest worker on the field. While in high school, this is where Garrett really honed in on his craft as a wide receiver. Being that he didn’t have your typical wide receiver build- Garrett knew he needed to do more than the average to earn a scholarship to keep his dream alive. Setting records that still stand at WOHS, earning a spot in the ESPN 300- Garrett earned more than 20 offers to play at the collegiate level. He chose the University of Kentucky, and the rest was history.
While at Kentucky, Garrett earned a name change from the Big Blue state- Juice. Juice was a name that exemplified high energy, and swagger. He prided himself on being a light in any room/setting he stepped in. Juice played 4 years, but earned his bachelors degree in 3 years- all while etching his name in the record books as the 4th all time leading receiver, and 5th all time receptions leader.
After college, Juice went on to pursue his dream as a NFL wide receiver- playing for the Chicago Bears. Although his professional career wasn’t as long as he hoped for(due to injuries), he gained a wealth of knowledge.
Juice ended up spending some time in Canada with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, before wrapping up his football career.
Once returning back to Winter Garden, FL- this is where Garrett began training, and being a mentor to those aspiring to have a career in football. He was always a believer- but his Faith grew from Faith to Faith. God sent a vision of starting a company that you all know as “Built On Faith Sports”- and here we are 6 years later.

With a rich history spanning from grassroots Pop Warner to professional leagues, including stints with esteemed teams like the Los Angeles Wildcats and the Orlando Guardians in the XFL, as well as the Orlando Predators, Roman brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table.
Having excelled in D1 football at both the University of Delaware and Southern Illinois University, Roman's journey through various developmental leagues has equipped him to share his profound understanding of athletics into a mission of mentorship and skill enhancement.
As co-founder of a premier sports training company, Roman's commitment to excellence is unwavering. He approaches each training session with meticulous attention to detail, pushing his clients to strive for greatness both on and off the field. With a focus on technical proficiency, speed, agility, awareness, and overall skill development, Roman ensures that every athlete he trains reaches their full potential.
